Karmine Corp Dominates MVK to Near Main Event in Worlds 2026

Karmine Corp's Impressive Performance

Karmine Corp is gaining momentum in the Worlds 2026 League of Legends Championship. After a narrow victory against Cloud9 (3-2), the French team showcased a much stronger performance against MVK Esports, who had previously defeated FURIA in the first round. In the first game, Karmine Corp displayed solid control, finishing with nine eliminations compared to MVK's four, taking the match in 30 minutes.

Key Players Shine

The second game confirmed Karmine Corp's dominance. Yike, who faced criticism after his earlier matches against Cloud9, rebounded effectively on Lee Sin with a score of 5/1/8. The bot lane duo of Ashe and Seraphine also excelled, allowing Karmine Corp to dictate the pace of the game and build a significant lead, ultimately winning 21 to 11 in eliminations and concluding the game in 33 minutes.

A Tense Third Game

However, the third game provided some tension for Karmine Corp fans. Although they started strong, MVK's Chika, playing Kog'Maw, helped narrow the gap. Despite MVK's efforts to extend the match until the elder dragon, Karmine Corp secured victory through a strategic backdoor play by Canna and kyeahoo, finishing the match after 35 minutes.

Upcoming Crucial Match

With this decisive 3-0 victory, Karmine Corp remains undefeated in the Play-In stage and is now just one win away from reaching the Swiss phase of Worlds 2026. This encouraging turn of events follows a rocky start. The team's next challenge will be on Sunday, where they will face either MVK Esports or FURIA, with the winner earning the single spot available in the Main Event. For Kameto and his team, the dream of their first Swiss phase participation is closer than ever.
