siuhy Released from Team Liquid
Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek has officially entered free agency after Team Liquid released him, leaving an open roster spot in their Counter-Strike 2 lineup. This change follows a turbulent 16-month stint with the organization, during which Liquid struggled to achieve consistent results.
siuhy joined Team Liquid in April 2025 on loan from MOUZ, stepping in as the in-game leader after previous leadership under Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken. However, despite initial optimism, the team could not find a winning formula during his time. The highlight of his tenure was a top-four finish at FISSURE Playground #2, but the team failed to advance to the playoffs in any of the three Majors they participated in, culminating in a disappointing 5-11 record in significant events.
His individual performance echoed the team's struggles, as he concluded his time with a rating of 0.87 across 185 maps. The change in leadership, which saw Johnny "JT" Theodosiou take over as IGL in July, signaled the beginning of a roster overhaul for Liquid, but no immediate replacement for siuhy has been named.
As siuhy seeks opportunities with new teams, Team Liquid faces the challenge of filling the vacant position left by his departure. No details regarding their next roster steps or tournament commitments have been disclosed, leaving fans eager for updates on the team's future direction.
