Sentinels have officially released Jonah “JonahP” Pulice as part of a roster overhaul for VALORANT, with CEO Rob Moore indicating that new 'S tier' players are being targeted. This decision follows a disappointing season where the team failed to qualify for international events.
Roster Changes at Sentinels
Sentinels have announced the departure of Jonah “JonahP” Pulice as they prepare to revamp their VALORANT lineup for the upcoming 2027 season. Alongside JonahP, Jerrwin is also exiting the team, as confirmed by CEO Rob Moore, who stated that they are looking for new players to enhance the squad’s performance.
JonahP, a Canadian veteran, joined Sentinels in March 2026 after stints with The Guard and G2 Esports. He was instrumental in The Guard's victory in the 2023 Ascension and contributed to regional successes with G2. The organization expressed gratitude for his contributions, noting his evolution from rival to teammate.
This roster change comes after a challenging 2026 season for Sentinels, where they failed to qualify for any international events, marking their first year without such appearances since 2023. Moore addressed these changes on X, revealing that both players were informed of their status on September 15 and would become unrestricted free agents.
Moore highlighted that while both players made significant efforts, they did not meet the competitive standards the organization aims for. He indicated that they already have potential 'S tier' replacements in mind, although official announcements regarding new additions will not occur until on or after November 2. Fans will need to wait for more details on the upcoming roster.
